Standard patents is renewable annually after the end of the third year, for a maximum of 20 years
Short-term Patents
Short-term patents is renewable after four years from filing, for a maximum term of eight years.
Registered Design
Registration of a design is for an initial period of five years. The registration can be renewed for four further periods of five years, giving protection for a maximum of 25 years.
